Using a white board to illustrate, Fraser presents his mathematical question. On the board are a camel, a pile of bananas and a straight line representing the width of a desert. On one side of the desert is the pile of bananas, 3000 in total. The desert is 1000km wide, and the camel can only carry 1000 bananas maximum at a time. Also, for every km the camel travels, it has to eat one banana. Fraser wants to know how many bananas the camel can carry across the desert.
